Make a Difference Locally

Public Intrust Incorporated (P.I.I.) Is a nonprofit corporation focused on the often-forgotten victims of violence and crime, the children of the victims. There's often "collateral damage" when acts of violence takes the life of a person. The loss of life alone is very significant, but the profound effect it has on the children is immeasurable and widely neglected. Children often lose a significant caregiver without anyone to fill that void. What we'll do is: Create a trust fund with the children of senseless gun violence and domestic violence as the beneficiaries. The trust fund's main function is to create opportunities for schooling, housing, and establishing financial responsibility to ease some of the many areas of burden when a life is prematurely taken. Cycles are often created and perpetuated via community/environment and parenting/lack thereof. We can’t replace a parent, but as a community, we can contribute to giving back to those who lose the most by creating opportunities that will give victims a chance for a better future after losing the ultimate support system (their parent/s).
